They are stuck in their ways and one of the worst things is "it's who you know, not what you know," which is a big barrier to change.
The same applies to Israel by the way.
We need leaders on both sides who are not stuck in the past.
We need elections.

And all those Russians, many of whom are not even Jews, Ethiopians, Eastern European, Western European, American, Iranian, Iraqi, Moroccan, Yemeni, Syrian Jews back to where they came from far more recently than the Palestinians!
