Nope. in the UK.
To answer Mike re preconditions. I agree that there should be direct talks with no preconditions.if that is possible. Unfortunately there is so much mistrust between both sides that they need support and reassurance from strong mediation.. For the Palestinians, there is almost nothing to talk about as we see the settlements gobbling up what is left of a potential Palestinian state. Today we see that 4 illegal outposts which were slated for demolition are now to be legalised. Difficult to believe that Israel really does want two states as the solution. |

Seems we need to convince both sides that war is not the answer - ever! |

a group of Fatah leaders have announced that are withdrawing support for a two state solution in favour of one state for all. |

Well actually the Palestinians think Israel regards war as the answer as it means they will never have to agree to. |

That repulsive man Donald Rumsfeld has just been interviewed on Sky.
HE thinks war is just for the winning and unlike the Brits, he didn't think winning hearts and minds was part of the exercise. Nor helping with building up the country after they have devastated it. He thought Afghanistan and Iraq should just get on with it like Japan and Germany did. He is a main reason the US has dropped to the bottom of the international popularity list! |
