So what's the big secret? Over the years I have met many men who served in The British army in Palestine. I never met one who sympathised with the Jews! I have also met many Palestinians who served with the British Army.
Israeli Independence was supported by a small majority only. |

On 11 May 1948, the General Assembly by the requisite two-thirds majority approved the application to admit Israel to the UN by United Nations General Assembly Resolution 273.
The vote in the General Assembly was 37 to 12, with 9 abstentions.
I woulod say that was a LARGISH majority! |

You wanted a land without people didn't you? So what was wrong with Iganda, Australia, Canada etc which hadded masses of unpopulated space? Instead you chose a land which had plenty of people. So you exchanged ethnic cleansing of one nation for ethnic cleansing of another.
And so it continues.......grabbing land, grabbing land, grabbing land. |

Wrong . The land was given to us by the non-Jewish world who believed in the Bible. Uganda - looked what happened there - wog land almost as bad as pallys.
Austarlia and Canada existed already - they were part of the Commonwealth if you recall your geography - no way Bevin would allow 'the Jews' to soil the 'property' of the UK.
The Jews saved your family's butt twice over in WW1 and WW 2 - I guess we deserve our homeland back. And for your info it is ONLY the Jews who can make it blossom - in Arab hands it returns to sand.
There has never been ethnic cleansing - I detest your tone . Better for you to sort out what the Muslims do to each other. |

Scotland today has the freedom to decide its future. Imagine that!
Freedom to choose Independence. Meanwhile the Palestinians struggle with the yoke of Jewish Occupation around its neck. See what the Jews did with their glorious Independencei You immediately turned into brutal Occupiers.
But one day those who gave you the land will force you to release the Jack Boot from the neck of the Palestinians!
Already you are disliked as a nation around the world. One day that dislike will turn to something worse, and it will be entirely your own fault!
If you don't make peace, you will have perpetual war. |

You cannot compare Israel with the Scottish problem . For one they do not go around killing people born say in Yorkshire or lancashire because they have the wrong accent or refuse to wear a kilt.
We have never been brutal occupiers - the arabs had never had it so good until sickie Arafat turned up on the scene.Arab Pallys would have a state by now if they had not attacked conjointly in 1948 . All they want to do is to murder Jews!! -- and I presume that is what you want as well??
Arabs have been killing Jews from time back - because of their stupid religious doctrine.
You just do not understand that we the Jewish people are here to stay and it is about time the so called indigent arabs went back to where they came from - that is unless they wish to reside in a democratic country and earn a reasonable living . Under Arab rule they make their own slums! |

I have just returned from collecting my 6 and 7 yr old grandsons from school at the top of Beit Jala.. It is a Lutheran school of 1000 pupils and has been in existence here since 1852. It stands in a large area of grounds with tennis courts, sports arena, beautiful gardens and forest overlooking the Hebron Hills. How the Israeli's hate it- as if the Arabs don't deserve it! They have tried dozens of times to take it over, only to meet the wrath of the German government! Furthermore, the sign reading Church Property has been removed and replaced hundreds of times!
Further along the same road is an Anglican Secondary School, which is regularly harassed by the IDF also. A hotel stands between the two. A hotel covered in barbed wire and the trappings of an ugly military encampment. It was taken from its owners in 1967 and the IDF has lingered there ever since. They patrol the area regularly ( no occupation in the West Bank?) and today they had set up a road block, stopping and questioning children of all ages. Parents arriving in cars were strung out all down the hill, anxious to collect their children. There are many school buses which were also stopped. A large number of parents and grandparents like me, are foreign, especially German. After 47 years of Occupation you would think the soldiers might speak a smattering of Arabic, or English, but not a word! Germans become very irate and the German diplomats are soon on the scene, and like today, the road is soon opened, with no explanation as to why it was closed, other than harassment! So dob't talk to me about no occupation or the "benign" administration of Israel! I sincerely hope the Scots get their Independence! Israel is going to look pretty silly in its role of persecutor in the modern age, especially following its outrageous role in Gaza! |

No! Israel pervades all of the West Bank whenever it feels like it, and in contravention of international agreements. The IDF acts at will in Bethlehem, Ramallah, Hebron, Nablus, Jenin, Qalqiliya, and all points in between. If you think otherwise you are being fooled by your government of Occupation. |

An estimated 350,000 Jewish settlers live in Area C, which comprises 62 percent of the West Bank. Areas A and B, where most Palestinians live, are under the control of the Palestinian Authority (Israel has security control, under the Oslo Accords, in Area B). No Israelis live in Area A.
There are 532 Palestinians residential locations in Area C, the report said. Within Area C, 73,515 Palestinians live near Jerusalem, followed by 67,850 near Hebron and another 36,448 near Ramallah.
Only an estimated 27% of Palestinians in Area C are registered refugees and only 6% live in refugee camps, the report said. Twenty-four percent work in Israeli settlements, 23% are employed by the PA, 24% are farmers, 10% are herders and 19% work in service industries.
My figures were out but your premise is incorrect . The Israelis patrol acc to Oslo accords. Of course they will go in where necessary to arrest a terrorist.
All the Pallys have to do is to behave , stop teaching hate and B will be under their total control C gives rise to the land swap agreement.
And finally there is no occupation . Israel is protecting its citizens.. This area in international law is disputed. Jordan lost it in war to Israel. If Hussein had kept quiet in 67 you would have had your state if Hussein would have given it to you.And that too has a big question hanging! |

Crap! The IDF has full uninvited access to every inch of all areas A B and C. The Oslo accords mo longer apply in this respect.
There should not be one single Jewish settler living in the West Bank. |

JJ forget it
There are 350000 Jews living in C area and very few of these will be moved IF there is a peace traety and full recognition . As however hamas will NOT permit any agreement there will be another round of fighting and they will lose again and maybe there will be a transfer to Jordan [ because by this time the kingdom may be in dread or gone]. Simply JJ the land is not yours or ours . It belongs to God and He gave it to us. This is nothing to do with right or left wing politics.
God allowed us back - and confounded christian thology to boot
The end story is that Jacob overcomes Esau and Esau submits. You and I might not be here but that is what will happen.
Personally I would have booted all the Pallys out ages ago
Those that wish to stay under Jewish rule are very welcome |
